. MOVEMENT IN NAPIER. (By TolegrapU.—Special Oorrcmnndent.) Napier, July 25. . The .advisability of adopting a Daylight. Saving Bill, as frequently urged by Mr. T. JL Sidey, M.P., was discussed by the Napier Chamber of Commerce, at its meeting to-day, when tho following resolution was carried: "That, this Chamber supports .Mr. Sidey, M.P., in Parliament in getting his Daylight Saving Bill put through successfully, and to come-into operation this coming summer and that the members for the Napier and Hawko's Bay electorates be asked to support'the same." .
i It. was further decided to communicate to: tho Chamber of Commerce throughout the Dominion asking their support. The proposal appears to find favour with tho majority 'of Napier business men, a number of whom, when interviewed by a .reporter to-day, expressed the opinion that; they were strongly .in favour of daylight saying; that it would not make the slightest _ difference to trade ■if everyone fell into line; that it Would prove a boon to employers and employees alike; and that- it would benefit the wliofo of tho people. .
