OTAKI NOTES.
A successful hunt was held at Waikanae on Wednesday. Among the followers were:—Messrs, J. Sexton (huntsman), on.Papa; A. M. Samuel, of Wellington (master), on Chum; M. Shannon (whip), on Moonshine; J. Edwin, on Dollv; Tom Parata, on Scamp; Tom O'Rourko, on Firefly; L. Simpson, on Tango; E. Wootton, on Never Sweat; Len. Udy, on Cliattis; W. Baker, oil Odo; N. Campion, on Hinemoa; J. Samuel, on Lese; —. Wliata, on' Seldom Fed; H. Bevan, on Huka Falls; A. Taylor, on Sirloin: T. Gray, on Goodbye; and S. Buchanan on Review. At the conclusion, Mr. Hira Parata .entertained about 150 visitors. Mrs. H. Nicolson, who has been absent on holiday for- several weeks, returned home yesterday.
