• -e • A special meeting of the New Zealand • Swimming Council was held • at Chriistehurch on Friday evening last to consider a notice of motion by Mr. J. F. Atkins (Wellington delegate) that! The Government grant was allocated as follows:—-Auckland, £10; Ilawkc's Bay, £15; Wellington, £15; Wanganui, £15; Canterbury, £15 (held over pending report from Canterbury Centre); Otago, £15: Nelson, £5: West-land, £15; South Canterbury,' £5; total, £110. In.-reply to a letter from Mr. F. Wil. ton,.of Wellington, asking if a delegate, had the right of access to the centre's minute, book, it was decided to rule that a.delegate can inspect a centre's minute -book or minuto book of executive -or sub-committeo thereof at aitj; reasonable time. ■'■■■•
