SUBURBS RIFLE CLUB
The fourth annual smoke concert of the Wellington Suburbs Defence Rifle Club was held at Godber's, Rooms, Cuba Street, last night. Mr. C. R. Graham (presideut of the club) presided. There were also present: The Mayor, (Mr. J. P. Luke), Colonel R, J. Collins, President Marshall (Karon Rifle Club) v Major Mabin, and Dr. Martin. Tho toast list was as follows:—"Donors of Trophies," proposed by Mr. C. R. Graham, reply the donors; "The Patron" (Mr. J. P. Luke), proposed by Mr. W. Jackson, senr., reply. Mr. Luke; "The Club Champions," proposed by Mr. J. H. Ross, reply Mr. H. Boon (champion); "Other Branches ,of the Service," proposed by Mr.AV. G.: Fellingliam, response Major Mabin; "D.R.A.." proposed by Pfesident< M'Donald, reply Colonel Collins; "Kindred Clubs," proposed by AV. Follingham. "The Press" and "The Ladies" were also included in the toast list. The musical items which interspersed the toast list were contributed to as follow'.—Messrs. Patrick Fitzgerald (song), Joseph Elliot (song), G. AA rarreh (rfjonologue), Con. Connors (banjo), A. G.' Wallace (humorous), and Messrs. T. Coltman and Henderson (musical items), Messrs. H. Petersen and Allen acted as accompanists. ,
