There have been many conflicts between the strikers and the police, in. which eleven of tho latter were wounded by stones. Tlio ' police used revolvers. Rioters in tho Viborg quarter overturned the tramcars. Much revolver shooting and stone-throwinir took place. Cossacks fired two blank volleys and dispersed the rioters. The tramwaymeii in Moscow have struck, and tho services aro suspended. Other strikes have taken place at Riga, Saratoff, and elsewhere, - .The, 'situation generally is tho most critical for years.
