NAPIER HARBOUR BOARD

SATISFACTORY FINANCES. (By TelosrranE.—Press Association.) r Napier, July 21. At the'meeting of the Napier Harbour Board to-day the chairman (Mr. A. E. Jull) stated, that the receipts for the half year ending June 30 amounted to £25;998-195.. ld'.y against £23,673 ss. 4d. for tlio corresponding period of 1913, while the rates received wore less by £1006 13s. ■ This result had not been brought 1 about' by any, extraordinary increase in any one department, as.practically all departments -had shown improvement. The general account credit had increased during the half year from £5282 os. 3d. to £14,049 lis. 5d., in addition to which the reserve of coal had increased, and £500 had been added. to the, reserve fund for renewals of plant.
