— $ —___ . The Wairarapa fanners held a reunion hero on Friday,' and notwithstanding tho unpleasant weather some 120 wero present. The gathering took tho form of a smoke concert, and a, long toast list was gone through; Mr. H. Morrison (Masterton) was in tho chair, supported, by Sir Walter Buchanan, M.P., mr the right, and Mr. TV Moss (president of the Farmers' Union, Wellington Province) on the left. Musical and elocutionary items were given and much appreciated. The."social" did not close till wojl after midnight. Representatives were present from all parts, of the valley, and some instructive addresses were given. The Agricultural Department was well represented, and Mr.. Wm. Perry (of the Boaid of Agriculture) was also present.
