' From there a turn was made along the ridge until the old Whisky Still' was reached, then tho runners clambered down the precipitous face of the hill to,Gollan's Valley farm. From the farm a turn was' made for home along the road. On the Teturn journey. tie A team overhauled the. slow pack,'but could not catch-up with' all the members of the B team. The first to reach home wero ,W.' Wakeling, H. -Mio, and J. O'Neill, all members of the B team. Of tho A team, G. Hutton and N. Cummings ran a close finish, G. Hutton winning by a couple of yardsj .with J. Douglas third. The first home in tho main pack was R. Harvey, who was closely followed by T. Troward. ■ After the run the mem-' bers. and friends /.were entertained by Mr. 'and Mrs. C. Guise. Musical items were rendered by Messrs. W. Shell, C. Dentico, and Miss : M. Guise.
