1 A PECULIAR ACCIDENT. A peculiar tramcar accident occuned in' Elizabeth Stroot at 9 o'clock yesterday morning. As a tram bound for . the city was passipg the Wellington Dairy Company's premises, a horse attached to a milk-cart suddenly swung round. The shaft pierced the side of raid tramcar, and struck a lady, who received slight injuries. The horse then bolted, but was subsequently caught. SHOT BY A PEA-RIFLE. While walking from Tory Street through Buckle Street, towards Taranaki Street, yesterday afternoon a boy aged about fourteen years, was shot in the palm of "one of his hands.
