At the' National Rifle Association meoting at Bisley, the following was the result of the shooting for the Mackinnon Challenge Cup; ten 'shots at 800, 900, and 1000 yards. ; Australia, 1531 1 England, 1531 2 Scotland .......; ;..;.... 3 Australia had the better score on the long range, and therefore won the match. _ The individual scores of the Australians were:—M'Alister, 137; Harrison, t33; Alston 131; Parsons, 131; Timmens, 129; Long, 129; Hubbaid, 129; Mears, 128; Halliday, 127; Bagley, 125; Cross, 121; Trouberth, 111.
