Sir Thomas Liptou was in the chair. Shareholders took exception to the company being debited with the costs in the canteen caso, and urged that Sir Thomas Lipton, instead of yachting, should pay more attention to the business of the company. Tho reports and accounts were adopted, and before the meeting dispersed cheers were, given for Sir Thomas Lipton, somebody shouting: "Never mind the company; bring back the Cup."
