I MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. Tlie weekly meeting of the Muimgoment Committee of the Wellington Lootball Association was held last evening, Mr. A. E. Wells presiding. The question of sending n Fifth Division representative team to Auckland this season vva6 held over till July 31. It was decided ,to tend Umn, M.„
Harriott and B. L. Salmon letters of thanks for' donating caps to the Wellington representatives who won the Brown Shield in August, 1912. The secretary of the Southland Football Association wrote stating that they were . propared to give Wellington 50 per cent, of the gross gate for; a visit The southern association suggested thai August 29 would bo a suitable date. It was resolved to hold • .the matter ovci' till a reply had been received from Canterbury F.A. concerning tho matter oi a Wellington representative team making a southern tour. A rcguest from tho Y.M.C.A. Club for their match ngainst Hospital to be played on the Basin Reservo was refused on the grounds that Hospital had already travelled to town on two occasions this season—the maximum number of times tho team is supposed to play iu town. A motion to the effect that a match be played on Kilbirnib Park on Wednesday, July 22, botween the Wednesday representatives and a team picked from His Majesty's warships in port was carried. It was stated that arrangements were well in hand for the proposed visit of the Wellington Second Division representatives to Nelson during August. It was decided to write to the Nelson F.A. asking if it would' be possiblo to billet the visitors during their, stay in Nelson. A lettei; was received from the secretary of the Netf Zealand Council stating that if the W.F.A. so desired, an appeal board would be set ■up under rule 23 to consider tho Crouch case. After discussion it was decided, on the motion of Mr. T. Thompson, seconded by, Mr. A. Tarney, that the W.F.A. agree to the proposal. On the motion of Mr. A. Yamey, it was decided to invito the Marlborough and Manawatu Associations' to send teams representing their Fourth Division to visit Wellington this season. FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY.
