HIDE, SKIN AND CRTJTCHING SALE. ■ In conjunction with their fortnightly hide and skin sole, Messrs. Dalgety and' Co., Ltd., held a special crutching sale, ati which representatives of both 'local and Home buying houses were present. Competition was keen throughout, and the quality of crutchings oifercd was superior to that of last sale, prices however being easier by about Jd. per lb. Skins and hi£es met with a' ready demand, prices toeing on a. par with those ruling at last sale, whilst tallow, in.sympathy with the London'markct, was slightly easier. ;'.• ; Customs duty collected at the port of Wellington yesterday amounted to £5901165. i Last -week's coal export from Grcymouth,' according to a Press Association telegram,' was 9003 tons 13cwt., consisting of Brunner 726 tons 13cwt., Blackball 4176 tons llcwt., Point Elizalttth 1500 tons scwt., Liverpool 2005 tons lOcwt., Paparoa 595 tons lOcwt.
