The "Times," in a preliminary report, states that wheat crop is about 95.1, as compared with the decade average of- 91.38; barley and oats are slightly below the average; beans, 94, as compared with 91.34. A poor hay crop is predicted. After writing off £417 7s. Id. for depreciation of plant and improvements, tlie Masterton A. and .P. Association is in. a better position by £56 Is. 3d. this yoar than it was on June 30, 1913. A number of Masterton farmers intend growing cowgrass, crested dogtail, and ryegrass this season.' The members'' subscriptions received by the' Masterton A. and P. Association last year amounted to £1032. Why is it that home separation is becoming, more papular with the fanners?
