Th 6 Wellington Motor Cycling Club held a hill-climbing contest -at Severn Street Hill, Island Bay, on "Saturday a f ternoon.* Tlicro "\v©ro about tittccii starters, the' placed men being: N. Irvine .(25 h.p. A.J.S. , 1; J. I»tt (2i -li.p. Douglas), 2; 'Edmunds-.. (8 h.p. Rex Jap), 3. The club also held a flexibility trial to decide tlio b*at individual performance -for the Suther-land-Rankino Clip in the teams' -race iield on tho previous Saturday, 01113' those riders who completed the course and rode their own machines being in the competition. This evont was won by J. Izett (2J Douglas), with J. by J. Boucher (2f.A.J.5.), with J. Izett (2$ Douglas)_ second, and Sutherland : (Triumph) third. -
