The' president in bis address predicted an increase in stakes in the. new year. The Hon. Geo. M'Leau• • , was elected president, Mr. P. Miller vic.e-presidentj a,nd Messrs. J.' Smith, A. C.. Harilon, E. H. Lough, and W. J. Coughlan wore elected a committee. Several improvements, including' a hew total.isator, are predicted.
