The New Zealand I»oari' and Mercantile Agency report:—At our usual fortnightly, sale, held at Levin yesterday, we had a fair yarding.of sheep and a good yarding of cattle. We quote:—4 and 5-y«ir-old breeding ewes, to 16a.; dairy heifers, (spring cnlvers), to £5; aged store cows, from £2 2s. to £3 106.; forward cows, from £4 to £4 12s. 6d.'; Ueht fat cowe, to £6 6s ; yearling bulls, from £2 18s. to £3 JCs.-; two-year-old bulls from £4 2s. to £4 6s. The New Zealand Loan-, and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report.—At Palnierston North on Thursday we had a,' fair entry of both sheep and cattle and quitted the bulk of our entry at lato rates. Quotations:—Sheep: Fair mixed lambs, 13s. 9d. Cattle: Aged store cows, 375. 6d. to £2 13s 6d.; store, cows, £3; fat cows. £5 lfo. to £6 55.; springing heifers, £5 6s. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report having held a very snecessful clearing ealo of sheep, cattlo.-etc, on behalf of Mr. Thomas Henley, at his.farm, near Eakaunui. The sheep were a particular!v good lot,- being wcll-woollcd and in good condition, tho breeding ewes malting tho record, price for the season—29s; Shorn wether and ewe lambs both made- 175.; 2- , tooth wethers, 255. 6d.; Lincoln rams, 2J guineas; 20-month steers, £5;/mixed weaners, £3 135.; heifers in calf, -£4 to £4 17s. 6d.: breeding cows, £5 Is.; dairy cows; to £9; horsos, £4 2s. 6d. to £12; woolpress, £8. ■'■'-■- '
