. Tho. Wellington Farmers' Meat Company has had a most successful season. Tho number of sheep and lambs put through was 201,957, compared with 256,170 last. season. Three times as many cattle wcro killed as.in the previousyear.—Special correspondent, Mastertou, • Mr. 0. C. Cooper has consented to be nominated for the presidency of tho Mastorton A. and P. Association for another term. _The Gladstone centre of the Farmers' Union has passed a resolution expressing its appreciation of tho services rendered by Mr. J. G. Wilson to tho union as president of the Wellington Provincial Executive. , Home separation has come, and will in. crease year by year. The reason for this is 'simple: (1) It gets rid of the carting of the milk and returning of skim milk; (2) It enables the man far back to send Ins cream away by rail, if no factory is near; (3) It obviates the jolting of the new'milk over rough roads with its consequent injury and loss to the farmer; (i) It.brings no skim milk to the farm from some other dairy,whcre the herd may be infected-with* tuberculosis or other contagious diseases. fend your cream to "St. John's" Butter Factory, c.o.
