MAN ARRESTED NEAR MASTERTOX. (By . Tolojraph.-Special Correspondent.) Masterton, July 3. On Jiine 14 : ! Ast a young , wcr.ian was found wandering about in the Christcliureli streets in a drunken condition, after returning from a "joy vide" to Kaianni in a motor-car. The police have since been seirchiny for the young .man who accompanied tho girl on tho car, and to-day, Constable Drown, of Tinui, arrestod John Patrick Ho.adc, iiged' about 22, on Epuraaia Station, over thirty miles out from Masterton, on a charge of being concerned in the affair. - Tho accused ivas brought to Masterton to-night, and will be. remanded to Cbristcnurch to-morrow.
