WHARF LABOURERS' UNION.
EXECUTIVE OFFICERS ELECTED. Mr. J. L. BadclifFe presided at a meeting of tho Wellington Wharf, Labourers' Union last evening. Mr. \V. M. Connell resigned the Rosition of vice-president, and Mr. G. Todd was apDointed to fill the vacancy. Mr. E. Murphy, who worked on the wharves prior to the strike, was elected to fill a position on tho executive. Messrs. T. Lo.dd, W. M. Connell, and E.: J. Jones were nominated for the position of secretary, vico Mr. C. A. E. Purdy, whose services weru dispensed with by the executive.. As a result of tho election Mr. E. J. Jones was appointed secretary. Messrs. Connoll and T. Ladd were nominated for the position of assistant secretary, and Mr. Connoll was elected.
