Tho pall-bearers wero representatives of. the Druids and-Ma-sonic Lodges and Borough Council. The Church of England service at the grave was conducted by the llov. It. Young. Many beautiful floral tributes wero forwarded. The Wairarapa South County Council lias accepted the tender of Messrs, 'Uayner and Quinn, at Is. sd. per yard for motalling Nix's Road, Parkvalo.
