At a meeting of the Wairarapa Rugby Union on Saturday night-it was decided; to support the protest of the Wanganui' Rugby Union m connection with the method of selecting New Zealand teams, an<l t that the Wangaiiui Union be in- ■ formed that the "Wairarapa Union sympathise with"thorn in .their grievance and suggest that tl\e methods of election' of selectors be altered so that they will bo' appointed by tho delegates at the an- ' nual taeoting of the New Zealand Rugby 'Union instea'd of by the, Management '"Committee of the Union as at present. . The Wairarapa Union considered that \ this would also bo an extra inducement to )tho smaller unions to send delegates to the annual meeting of the Now Zealand;tlnion,. instead of being represented byjproxies as at^present. •' The Wairarapa.
