In the Federal Seiiato the President presented Sir Ronald Munro-FergusonV. (Governor-General) reply covering his refusal to the Senators' request for the production of correspondence dealing with the' dissolution. Sir Ronald Munro-Ferguson points out that the production of the correspondence"' would be not only contrary to the usual practice, but a breach of the confidential relations between the representative of the .Crown and its Constitutional Ministers. He adds, for the Senators' information, that the statement Mr. Cook (Prime- Minister) mado in the House covered the grounds for a dissolution, arid also informs the Senate that, with the advice of his Ministers, he cannot comply with the request to send-six Constitution Amendment Bills to another referendum.
