EDWARD BLAKE. • Toronto, Juno 23. The death is announced of the Hon. Edward Blake, P.C. . The Hon Edward Blake was the eldest son of the Hon. William Hume Blake, Chancellor of Upper Canada. He was educated at the Upper Canadian College and tho University, of Toronto (M.A.). He ivas a member of the Canadian Parliament for over, 40 years, and at different times was Minister of Justice, AttorneyGeneral, and President of the Council He was also for a time Prime Minister of Ontario.
