An, important, conference opens tomorrow which will be attended by delegates from all over New Zealand, and a number-of matters affeoting the interests of the farming community will bo considered. The delegates will bo representative of farmers' co-operative associations, and also of farmers' unions. Now Zealand federation when tho latter is formed. It will, then be possible to establish depots in various parts of tho world, in order that tho best results may bo secured for the producer, and for the conservation of tho interests of farmers, notably in tho matter of resisting any unfair competition on tlie part of the Meat Trust.
