Mr. D. G. 'A. Cooper, S.M., presided ever yesterday's sitting of the Magistrate's Court®
On a charge of vagrancy, Mary Saunders was convicted and ordered to be placed in the Ohiro Home.
Peter Hughes was fined £I,> and witnesses' expenses Bs., for behaving in a disorderly manner whilst drunk. .
Allen Henry Meagher was charged with insobriety, assaulting a constable, and using 'objectionable language. On tho first two charges lie was. fined 10s. each. ' On, the other charge he was fined £'3 in default one month's imprisonment.
Minuie Brown was sent to caol foi; one month on a charge of soliciting.
For insobriety, Emily Baker was fined 205., and I vie M'Quilton was fined 10s, Two first offenders were convictcd and discharged.
