STEAMER SINKS IN A FEW MINUTES

The steamer Majestic, carrying a crew of thirty-seven, struck tho new intake tower at Saint Louis, on the Mississippi River, 'and sank in a fow rqinutcs. ' Men ycrc seen hanging to the rigging for an hour. Previously tho Majestic had landed at thousand telephone girl excursionists.'
The final report states that only'two were drowned by the sinking of the Majestic. The majority of the sailors swam ashore.
