POULTRY & CANARY SOCIETY. The.annual mcc-ting of the North Island Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Association was presided over by Mr. Thomson of Auckland. An important matter dealt with was tho calling upon the Wellington Society to show cause whv they should not be disqualified Jor alleged broach of the rules in joining. the Now Zealand Championshins, Limited. Mr. (.1. Finn attended from Wellington and explained the attitude- of.the Wellington Soeiely towards tho New Zealand Championships. Limited, nnd towards tho North Island Association. After Mr. Finn withdrew it was resolved that the Wellington Koeietv should have its affiliation cancelled, and Hint any exhibitors who showed at the Wellington So"i<>tv's fixture should not be allowed lo exhibit at the show of any society affiliated to the Norlh Island Association.
