ACCOUNTANCY
FINAL EXAMINATION PASSES. A special examination was held last month for those who failed to pass the final accountancy examination, held in November last. Of the sixty-one candidates who sat for this special examination, the following have passed:— Auckland Centre.—J. G. Dykes, bookkeeping (advanced), auditing (adv.), right and duties (adv.); E. G. Ellis, book-keeping (adv.); W. M'lnncs, auditing (adv.), rights and duties (adv.). ■'Wellington ■ Centre.—H. K. Douglas, book-keeping .(adv.), auditing (adv.); J. G. Neilson, mercantile law, book-keep-ing (adv.), bankruptcy; P. G. Pearce, mercantile law, auditing (adv.), rights und duties (adv.); V. E. Wells, bookkeeping (adv.), bankruptcy, joint stock companies. Dunedin .Control—A. H. Teiiipleton, book-keeping (adv.).. The results'of a similar examination in law .will probably be published on Saturday morning.
