UPPER HUTT TOWN BOARD
A meeting of tho Upper Hntt Town Board was held lost night. Present: Commissioners It.' H. Webb (chairman), H. V. Belize, E. B. Elliott, F. W. Kemp, A. J. M'Curdy, P. Robertson, and T. Edwanls. Tho following were approved:—Erection of firebell : Slid tower, road repairs nnd gravelled access to gateways in Seddon Street; acceptance of the offer of the Kaihvay Department to erect crossing notices, with request that, they be placed at tho roa Road, Blenheim Street, and King Street South; to Kins; Street and road works on Main Road from Vt. Hotelien's property to Stephen Street: erection of a Diet/, lamp at the bend of the road in Brown Street; £lio cantain of tho fire brigade to bo appointed firo inspector; Mr. A. J. Patorson to be engaged to regrade Gibbons Roa-d at once.
