Dalgcty and Company, Limited, report ha ving had a very good entry of sheep and cattle at their l'almorston North sale on Thursday, nearly all lines of which changed hands at the following prices:— Mixed lambs, lis. lOd.; forward ewes, ISs. 6(1. to 15s. 9d.; fat and forward ewes, to 17a. 6d.; light fat ewes, to 195.; prime fat ewes, to 223.; mixed age ewes, in iamb. lfls. to 183. 6(1.; store cows, £3 2s. £3 55., to £3 75.; forward cows, to £4 lis. 6d.; dairy heifers, £4 2s. 6d., £5 2s. 6(1.. to £5 17t!. Thui-.-day .we offered a heavy yarding of sheep and a medium entry of cattle. ■ Competition was keen throughout-, and we quitted the bulk of the entry.
