MARKET REPORT.
Shipments of New South Wales and Victorian-grown fruit are coming to handmore freeiy than last week "and meeting a very good demand at the Blair and Allen Street markets. The usual shipment of about 4000 cases of Fiji.bananas is also to hand, but values are low when compared -frith last months values. Small quantities of Island oranges are still on hand, tho yales being very slow. Supplies of local-grown pears and apples have been better this week than , for some time past, but values still, show, a ■ hardening tendency. Vegetables of all kinds are in good supply, with cauliflowers realising very high values. Fresh and preserved eggs are wnnted, with values as last-re-ported. Potatocg and' Onions'are unchanged.
