A confcrenco was held yesterday between a committee of tho Employers' Association, representing industries affected by importations, and a similar committee representing tho workers.. A statemont was made that New Zealand was tho richest country per head in the world, and yet it was not as prosperous (so far as industries wero concerned) as othor countries. It was decided to invite the co-operation of the Industrial Associations of Now Zealand to establish a Dominion trade mark or stamp on New Zealand-mado goods.
