In the Canadian House of Commons, Mr. Hiizen (.Minister of Marine) announced that a cyclono had struck the iNow Brunswick iishing fleet, and had also destroyed many of tho fishermen's homes. Mr. Hazen described tho disaster as the worst in Now Brunswick- history. Jhe small schooner fleet had been practically wiped out. Tho Government was ready to grant assistance when deserving cases wore investigated.
