At a largely-attended public meeting in the Garrison Hall to-night to discuss questions connected with Prohibition, addresses wore given by Messrs. C. H. Poole, H. D. Bedford, and the Rev. J. Dawson. A motion was carried unanimously asking Parliament to pass legislation nest session to remove or substantially reduce the handicap on the people's vote, and expressing the opinion that even six months would bo too long to tolerato tho liquor traffic.
