Tim insurance case Hague v. the Norwich and London Accident Insurance Association, which had occupied the attention of- Mr. Justice Hosking and a jury of four in the Supreme Court sinco I'bursday afternoon, was brought to a conclusion so fat as tlio jury was concerned on Saturday forenoon. Mr. C. B. C<dli»s (for the plaintiff, Fred Hague, of Utiku) and-Mr. A. A. H, Afentcath (for tho defendant insurance -company), having made their addresses, ajid Bis Honour having summed up, the jury after a short absence- returned with the fallowing answers to the- issues submitted:—

1. Did Thompson in or about February, July, and December, 1913, inform Hague that he (Hague) was being kept covered in respect of the -employers' liability policy in questioiv?~"Yes." '1. Did Hague procure tlio reiwnval receipt of January 21, 19J4, to be issued by representing that \& coUld only claim cover for the period between January 21, 1914, and February 4, 1914?— "No." 3. Was Hague guilty of any fraudulent coiieeataeiii or eohtsifin, or otherwise, with Thompson, in procuring tlio'issue of tlie- renewal receipt- of Jiumary 21. 1914?-—"No." Mr. Collins formally moved for judg- 1 meiit- or tho issues found by the jury. With regard ta other mattes reserved, they would no doubt be adjourned for further eoiisideratton. His. H.onotir said that the question of Waiver was t-te one Which seemed to present, the greatest difficulty. The case would be adjourned to a date to -be fixed. Mr. MentcatU formally applied that notwithstanding the- verdict, judgment should bo entered for tlio defendant, the ' object of the application being to preserre his rights in tho argument. Further Rearing was then adjourned sine- die,
