Leading members of Irish and Catholic Societies in various cities have met to form a Volunteer Committee to raise funds to supply arms to the Nationalist Volunteers in Ireland. A GENERAL ORDER IFSTJED. London, June 5. The- founders of the Nationalist Volunteer movement have taken no notice of Parliamentary parties' claims, beyond issuing a general order stating that the volunteers shall not participate in any political movement; local government or party election, or in any demonstration of a sectional or political character.
