, THE DOUBLE DISSOLUTION. By TeUcraoh— Prerj Association—Copyright Melbourne, June 6. The Governor-General's decision granting a doublo dissolution of the Federal Parliament was received with much enthusiasm by Liberals in all parts of the Commonwealth. It ih stated that tho organisation is well prepared for an immediate campaign. Mr. Cook (Federal Premier} stated that tho most serious step had been taken since Federation had been adopted,'but it was tho only moans of avoiding the paralysis of responsible government. Unless it'had been done grave constitutional problems would: have arisen.
