THE LABOUR DEPARTMENT.
INSPECTORS' TRANSFERS, A transfer of several inspectors in the Labour Department is shortly to be made, to fill threo vacancies which' recently occurred, namely, inspector in charge of Wellington City, officer . in charge of theCliristchurch branch, and sscond inspector at Christehurch. Mr. H. Mosten, inspector at Wanganui. will bo promoted to the; position at AYellmgton, and his placo will-be taken bvi Mr. E. Golms, of tho'-Auckland branch. A now inspector will be created-to fill tho Auckland vacancy. Mr. B. H. Bower, inspector at luvorcargill, will be promoted to Christehurch,. and Mr. R. T. Bailey, an inspector on'the Wellington staff, will take up tho position of second inspector at Cliristclntrcli. Mr. IV. Slaughter, inspector at New Plymouth', will take Mr. Bailey's place in Welluigton, and Mr. J. F. Arnold, of Duncdin, will go to New Plymouth. A new junior inspector will bo appointed at Duuedin.
