Kennedy, president of the New Zealand Locomotivo Engine-drivers', Firemen, : and Cleaners' Association (Christchurch) left by Monday night's steamer en- route for Auckland where he is instructed to toko cliargo of t'hc interests'of the driver of tho Main Trunk express, which collided with a goods train near Mercer. Mr. Kennedy assists at the inquest and will also watch tfto interests of tbo driver (J. H.' Stone)
