It states that, it is important and cssenial for .the Navy to : secure control of tho oil supplies. The Government has two directors on tho ■ board, with tho power of veto, which will only bo exercised in tho. national interests. GERMANY LOOKING FOR SUPPLIES. Berlin, May 26. It is stated that tho German Government has entered into a contract with a company in Mesopotamia to securo oil for the Navy.
