LECTURE AT ST. PAUL'S

An interesting lecture was delivered to the parishioners of St. Paul's ProCathedral last night by tho Rev. Herbert Wilson, vicar of Khandallah, on "Tho University Mission to Central •Africa." The lecture was illustrated by limelight views. Tho Rev. C. H. Harvey, acting-vicar, who presided, spoke or tho work that had been done in waking preparations for tho forthcoming' exhibition in connection with tho Marsden .centenary, which is to be held in tho Town Hall next February. Tho object of tho lecture was to stimulate interest in tho coming exhibition, in which St. Paul's parish is to have, a court representing work in connection with tin University Mission to Central Africa. • There- was an attendance of about 150 people, and, at its conclusion, an Exhibition Committee of twelve woro elected with power to add to their mim■ber. Tho.commrtteo set up was as follows :—Mescwmes Burton, Powles, .Marchant, Tendall. MUi fontes, and Messrs. Marchant. Shirteliite, Bridges, Oswin, Hobbs. and Kidner.
