SUNDAY CONCERT.
A sacred concert was Itehi in His Maksty's Theati'O last evening by . tho Tramways Band, There was a gcwJ audience. The band was conducted by Mr. G. W. Bowes (late sergeant Bth King's Royal Irish Hussars), and every itcnt rendered was heartily appreciated IV- opeuint; number was the uiitich 'uasliiitiitoit Greys,", whioh was followed by tile grand selection "Lortaitijs," by the band. Madame Caseva vvas heard t« advantage in (a) ' 'Ihe Praise of Go-d" (Beethoven), and "A Summer Night" (Goring Thorns), Tlkj songs were accompanied vit 11 a violin ohbltgato by Hen , Carl Sauei. Mt. Glennie foltowetl with a fine rendtsriiip; of '-The Holy City,' 5 as a cor' met solo-, and woll-ineitod applansc fircclcd his ciiort. Two descriptivo j)ieces by .the band, "Jamie's Patrol" and the fantasia- "Smithy of the Fβiv e3t" wero very well played by tho band. ' Mr. Lance Jones sang "Through Rolling Drums" and. "Son of Mine." Tiro accompanists wore Hcrr Car! Slaimr ami Miss Doris KasSO!l.
