BUSINESS PLACES DESTROYED. By Telejraph—Proas Aiiaciation—Copyright Levin, May 21. A firo this morning at Shannon, ten miles north of Levin, destroyed Norwood's refreshment rooms, Richardson's butchery, Jenkins's saddlery, and Hook's billiard room. The Bank of New Zealand was saved by tho efforts of a bucket brigade. Merwodd was uninsured, and his loss is £120. Hook's loss is £120. ,1011-' kins wrfs also "uninsured, and his loss is £260.
