1 Recently the Railway Department has placed address' tags on salo at tlio. Thorndon. railway station, and this, in addition; to providing revenue, has proved of convenience to passengers, and should result in an improvement in tho sorting and railage of luggage. Tho tags arc of tho usual type, with string attached, .and with ample room for addresses 011 pith or side. The Department will no doubt find it of advantage to place tlioso labels 011 sale at all stations.
