The high price of land will be a stumbling block to an active immigration policy. In regard to Now Zealand's commercial activity, tho factories of the Sunshine Harvester Company and the Gear Meat Company, Wellington, wcro a revelation. Regarding_ tho American Beef Trust, the Commissioners expressed tho opinion that a'higher price for meat would be better for Australia and New Zealand as producers. The man who invented the refrigerator was the greatest benefactor those countries ever had.
