NEW FREEZING WORKS.

(By Telegraph.—'Press Association.! Marton, May 10. A largely attended meeting of farmers and residents of 'Marton to-day unanimously accepted the proposal of the Wellington Meat Export Company to erect supplementary works, providing that 10,000 shares were allotted, the settlers of 'the district to fix on tho site. A proviso was added that the works be erected upon tho most suitable site between Ivakariki and Marton Junction. A strong canvassing committee was elected to canvass the district for support.
