Justice (Sir Robert Stout) gave judgment in the case in which Frederick Leslio Howard applied for a writ of habeas corpus respecting his two children, ono'of whom was over seven years of age, and the other under seven years, and both of whom were living with their mother. > - His Honour said that 1 the Court had no power to grant the application respecting the child-under seven, and, in any cause, lie thought it unwise to separate the children, and did not wish to make any order which would have that effect.
