.Messrs. Dalgcty end Co., Ltd.. report:—At our Otaki sale on Tuesday we offered largo yardings of bath sheep nnd cattle. All classes of sheep were keenly sought after, find we quitted all lines under the ho.nimer with the exception of one pen of f.f.m. owes. Cattle mot with rather a. sale, but we disposed of the bulk of our entry. We quote the following prices :- Sheep: Four and six-tooth welhors, to ISs. 7d. ; fat wethers, to 21s. 9t1.; fat and forward ewes, 155.. 17s. 3d. to 17s. sd.j empty cull ewes, 6s. 9d.; two, four, eix-toot-h mid f.f.m. ewes, Mβ. 3d.. 17s. 7d.; lfimbe, 7s. fel., ,lie. Id. to lls. 4d.; cull lambs, 45., 6s. 7d. Cattle: yearling steers. £2 6s. Id.. £2 15s. 6d., £"l 19s. 6d.; weauers. £1, £1 7s. C-d., £1 Os. 6d.; yearling heifers, to £2 10s. 6d.; cighteen-moiilhs heifers, £3 10s.; two-year heifers. £5, £5 35., £6 65.; store cows, to £4; cows in'milk, to £7; horses, to £13. The New Zealand Ijoan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:—At Apiti on Tuesday we had a. good entry of sheen and a fair yarding of cattle. Bidding" was brisk all round, nnd several pens of sood-analit-y breeding ewes sold well. We have to report a. total clearance at prices in favour of vendors. Shoep- Small lambs, 9s. 4d.to 10s.; good wether lambs, 13s. 10d.; small two-tooth ewes, 16s. 4d.; aged ewes in lamb. Us.
