NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW 1914

This show is tbe first of the two notable shows held each yeaj- bv the Manstivatu and AYest Coast A. and f, Association. This fact is. mentioned so tiwtthose who contemplate talcing )jp membership may know that tho annual privileges commence in June next. Tho forthcoming event is already looming large with very bright prospects. At this early date all space is over-applied for which means that tho committee, -will • again have to grapple with tho problem of squeezing tho applicants in somo way or other.. Machinery is already beginning to arrive, and tho members of the staff, both ground and secretarial," .are busy preparing for tho great event. Favoured with lino weather, an exhibition which will eclipse all previous attempts at .re-cord-breaking is anticipated. This importance has not been attained without bard work, and the- n-reatest credit is due to these members of committee and ethers who have so willingly made great sacrifices in time, nranev, labour, etc., without any possible hope of direct reward.'
